Sally Hind
Sally is a farmers daughter from Essex and spent ten years working on a remote Shetland Islands in the knitwear industry. Whilst living on Fair Isle she took advantage of the unlimited supplies of fleece. Her enthusiasm led to a revival of hand spinning there and the formation of a crafts co-operative.
After a long break to bring up her family, she has picked up the "threads" again, spinning and knitting as a pleasurable hobby, creating products from the natural soft fibres of Jacob sheep.
